There Were On A Mission When They Met… Literally…
Meet Heidi and Franco. We’ve known them for almost two years – we attend the same church – and since we first met them, we just knew there was something special about them, both individually and as a couple. We were so excited when they asked us capture their love. They are just an amazing couple who really know what love is all about… they live it out everyday with each other. Heidi provided us some insight into their love story. Read below…
“Franco and I met in 2001 when I took a mission trip to Honduras. Franco and his friends were helping our missions group. One night after working together we broke away from the group and were able to talk and get to know each other better. Franco says the first thing he noticed about me was my “great smile” and he was able to make me laugh, and still does.”
“We stayed in touch via e-mail and phone over the next few months and Franco eventually moved up to Texas to go to school. When I first saw him again I was so excited that I ran up to him and gave him a big hug. Franco was feeling a little nervous, and does not show excitement the same way I do, so I thought maybe he wasn’t as excited to see me too. That thought didn’t last long though because he initiated all the calls and date nights from that point on.”
“Over the course of a year we became really close friends and decided that we liked each other a whole lot and wanted to commit our lives to each other. We were married on May 29th 2004 and I can honestly say that each year we grow in love for one another. He is truly my best friend and I am his.”
My husband and I were both a little nervous about taking professional pictures. After all, it had been almost 7 years, since our wedding, that we had done a photo shoot together and we were not impressed with those. We had seen some of the work that Chris and Angela had done and really liked their style.
Once we arrived at the shooting location our nerves were quickly put at ease with their laid-back and fun personalities. We were not only put at ease, but we had a great time doing the photo shoot. Chris and Angela were quick to get the pictures edited and up online for us to see and we could not have bee more happy with the results. Christographer will always be our number one choice for pictures. Thanks again you two!
Heidi and Franco, you guys were such a pleasure to photograph. You guys are just so sweet to each other and we definitely felt the love between you two. We’ll miss you guys, but hope to visit Denver soon.
